After all the changes going on, it made me realise how important it is to keep ahead of the game. And not to have all my eggs in one basket.
So today I have spent time researching how valuable a Work at home blog would be, and doing a lot of background work on a project I have been thinking about for a long time.
When I started working online, I had no clue where to start, and now when I look back I realise the amount of knowledge I have gathered, so I wanted to make a central place to share this....and make it my own.
Why...I was talking to an old friend from school who has a small business, selling unique garden furniture, I never even knew about it. I aske dif she had a website, or how she promoted it, and she laughed saying how on earth would she know anything about promoting a sotre online. So we sat down and made up a plan, she decided on a blog, and we are working to bring it together, she is loving the fact she has complete control over it, and can update as stock comes in.
She asked me how I knew this "stuff" and I told her its what I have been doing for the last few years online.
So this made me think, how many of us are out there, NOT taking full advantage of the information we have access to, to help our small businesses online, or promote our homemade products.
I have even introduced her to adsense and being an affiliate for a large, well known Gardening company.
She knew I worked online, but did not realise I was indeed making money, (Okay I had to prove it by showing her all my online accounts....) she could not belive it and indeed told me if I had not shown her, she would have doubted it possible from hat I was saying.
So this blog is eventually going to reveal, my online statistics, insight into my traffic to my web, and share successes I have had online.
I want to show that you can make money online, hey if I can do it then you can too. Are there secrets....no there are ot, it takes time, work and a little patience and a whole lot of learning and perseverance. But it can be done.
